I was working on # 2 of 23 things perspectives on library 2.0 and web 2.0. It is my intention to learn more about blogging for personal as well as professional reasons. I have no interest in getting involved in debates or even discussions about the future of libraries and the importance of 23 questions. After reading the blogging of John Blyberg I considered quitting this learning program. However, I changed my mind and decided to continue and ignore the parts that I do not find necessary for my learning or development.
MN 23 things on a stick is giving me an incentive to continue with a blog I attempted several months ago and gave up on. My reason for wanting a blog originally was to talk to customers, family, friends and neighbors about what is going on at our farm. So what is going on? Unfortunately not much in the past month because Tom has been occupied with hip replacement surgery. After an incident involving a bull he did serious injury to the same hip and went back to the hospital for another more serious surgery. Tom is on the mend and life on the farm should resume to normal by the end of February. Tom has given me so much practice on being a nurse in our years of marriage, that once in the emergency room his doctor thought I was a nurse. I assured him I was a librarian and it is a much easier occupation.
